Week # 17: Why Nanci’s book “More Precious Than Gold” is truly more precious than gold.
Dear Friends,
Just as a reminder, I post new articles on “Tuesdays” … we are Tuesday people. But you can come by anytime and read posts for this new series called “Why Nanci’s new book is truly More Precious Than Gold!”
It’s just a few days before Christmas. I don’t know what your beliefs are or what this season means to you. But for Christians, Christmas is about the birth of Jesus, the Savior of the World. Some folks haven’t realized their need for Jesus yet – their need for a Savior. But I would surely hope that with Covid-19 more people would be looking to God than ever before. Mankind needs a savior. It takes just a minute to look around and see how we treat one another, how unhappy people are, how many problems people have, and how many problems our society has. Besides that, there is more and more evil all around us. I’ve noticed it maybe you have too.
Jesus wasn’t just a good man. He wasn’t a prophet. Jesus was and is the son of God. He came to earth not to show you the way to be happy. No. God wants more for you than that.
In this essay titled “Happy Habits” it shares 17 practical things you can incorporate in your life with the goal not to help you be happy, but to help you enjoy your life more. The golden nugget in this essay is that as you read my book and you’ll discover the best, the brightest, the most wonderful thing that God wants you to achieve for your life.

Week #16: Why Nanci’s book is truly “More Precious Than Gold.”

Today I’m sharing about the essay in my book that’s all about wholeness and healing.
Did you know that God not only wants you to be healed of all illness, but He wants you to be a whole person. The Greek word “Sozo” means exactly that – wholeness. This ought to be a very popular essay for every life traveler who reads my book. In the text I share a bit about emotional, financial, mental, physical, relational, and spiritual healing. All these things and more are important to God. He wants you to be whole in every area of your life!

Week #15: Why Nanci’s New Book Is Truly “More Precious Than Gold.”
You get two for one today!! Of course that means I’m sharing the essence of two essays. And they are, “Take a Drink of Great Happiness” and “Renew Your Mind.”
In these days of Covid-19 we could all use to “Take a Drink of Great Happiness.” What gives you great happiness? Is it family, friends, your job, learning the tango, going marlin fishing with a friend, a cold one, maybe it’s a great cup of coffee, or a great house in the country with a wonderful view? If you watch the new lifestyle network DABL then you know about the great properties with awesome views shown in Northern Ireland, Scotland, England, and Wales. I love that show. It brings me great happiness! It’s called “Escape to the Country.” If you are interested the program is on from 4 – 7 pm EST. I get it on Channel 19.3 or 61.5. So, what brings you happiness?
Well, the essay “Take a Drink of Great Happiness” has nothing to do with the things I mentioned above. I guess this one will have to be a total surprise! I’ll give you one clue, the ideas in “Take a Drink of Great Happiness” are from an ancient ritual. That’s all I’m saying!
Now what about “Renew Your Mind?” It’s simple. It’s all about how God can change your mind. This one is a pretty powerful essay. You’ll want to read it a couple of times. See how you can change the channels and think something better on purpose. There’s more to it. And of course it’s based on God’s word.
“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable – if anything is excellent or praiseworthy – think about such things.” Philippians 4:8

Week #14: “Why Nanci’s new book is truly More Precious Than Gold!
Dear Friends,
In my first book “Fresh Hope … Cleveland” there was a little mouse named Emma found within the pages of the book. She shared resources to help others. One of my former students did a great sketch of Emma. But today in we go in search of Aunt Clara. She’s somewhere in this new book – “More Precious Than Gold.”
Everyone has some crazy relative in their family. And by crazy I don’t mean someone who has mental illness –I just mean we all have some family member who is a little eccentric, funny, creative, or just darn right interesting and amusing. If you remember the book “Finding Waldo” then you’ll love this little game. Your mission (in my new book) is to try to find this fun-loving little lady, Aunt Clara. Find her in the book and you looking at yours truly – well sort of! She is my alter-ego! Hum. Hum. Where could Clara be?
